What’s on my Farfetch Black Friday wish list

When it comes to my style, I love mixing high-end and low-end styles. There’s something about having a great luxury piece to add to a look. It could be the centerpiece of an outfit or just that added thing to make me feel extra special. One of the places I like to look for great luxury items is FarFetch. With Black Friday just around the corner, I decided to create my own Farfetch Black Friday wish list.

Every once and a while I like to splurge. Not as often as I’d like and lately the splurges have been few and far between. Actually I’ve been really good this year. So I thought if I was going to get treat myself to one thing what would it be? What would be on my Farfetch Black Friday wish list?

My list is pretty simple. I’ve picked out 5 things that have caught my eye. As Black Friday is nearing, I thought it’d be fun to share my list and why I chose the things I picked. Who knows maybe they will be on the Farfetch Black Friday sales list and I can get them at a great price. Better yet if, you’re looking for something to get me this holiday season, you’ll know exactly what will make me happen.

1. Dior So Real Sunglasses

I have been watching the sunglasses for a while now. I love the shape and it seems everyone is copying them these days. Typically I am not hard on sunglasses and I don’t usually lose them. However this year I broke my favorite pair that I’ve had for years. And surprisingly, I actually lost a couple go to pairs. So now I’m due for a new pair and these are on the top of my list.

2. Thom Browne Crooked Handle Striped Umbrella 

I have been searching for a nice umbrella for some time. If you saw me in the Washingtonian style sitter magazine there’s a picture of me with a really cool umbrella. Since I’m a huge fan of Thom Browne, this unique one caught my eye. I think it’s a pop of color for a rainy day.

3. Vivienne Westwood Tartan Tote

While I was picking out this tote, I noticed that Farfetch has a wide variety of designer bags for men. Personally, I tend to prefer to carry a tote versus a briefcase. Unfortunately my last two were stolen because of two break-ins in my car. (I guess the thieves like totes too!) I chose this one because if I’m bold enough to carry a tote, why not go with one in a fantastic tartan pattern!

4. Alexander McQueen Striped Skull Sweater

I’ve promised myself to be a little more casual in my style. However lately I just seem to be more comfortable in tailored looks. That being said, watch out for me in some elevated casual looks in the near future. One of those looks may include this fantastic sweater from Alexander McQueen. It has a terrific nautical feel but adds that cool edgy factor with the skull motif.

5. Burberry Albert Sneakers

I picked these for the simple reason is I liked them. I saw these while I was in Cancun at the end of October. Troy and I decided to take a break from the sun and popped into the mall right next to our resort. We got into a a fight over which shoes were better. He chose a pair of Burberry chelsea boots over these amazing trainers. I loved the graffiti look of the Burberry across both shoes. Troy didn’t think they were cool. Well, everyone is entitled to be wrong!
