| Josh beat out a crowd of 14 models in the 2015 Team DC Fashion Show and Model Search |
Last night Town Danceboutique hosted Team DC Fashion Show and Model Search. The annual event raises funds to provide scholarship money to LGBT student athletes in the Washington Metropolitan area.
This year 14 eager strapping contestants competed in 5 rounds wearing everything from club wear to underwear in the hopes of being the 2015 top model. Hosted by the effervescent Brent “Barbara Bush” Minor and the luscious Zach “Athena Ducockis” O’Connor, the evening was filled with the latest styles provided by local area vendors such as Universal Gear, Adam and Even and Trickbox.
While contestants worked the runway, the audience had an opportunity to literally buy the shirts of the models’ back as many of the looks worn were featured in a live auction towards the end of the contest. Special Guest Judge, Paul Wharton, host of Paul Wharton Style along with last year’s model winner, MattWhite lead an all star panel of judges who crowned this year’s winner, Josh.
