Lately I’ve been obsessed with luggage. I don’t know what it is about it but I think it’s just an extension of my overall look. I like to travel with a great looking bag even if it’s for a quick staycation. Naturally I was intrigued when I received the Heys Smart Luggage.
It seems that everything is connected these days from your watch to your home and car so why not your luggage? That’s the principle behind the Heys Smart Luggage. Its just taking advantage of today’s technology and enhancing the travel experience. My roller came with some great features.
The luggage was developed for use with the Heys Smart Luggage® app which enabled me to control interactive luggage functions through my iPhone. The app also works with Android devices. It’s powered by 2x AAA Batteries, approved for Check-in. The luggage does not use Lithium-Ion batteries have been under fire (pun intended) by the airline industry.
Other features include the smart handle with integrated scale so you can check your weight of the bag in advance and not worry about it being too heavy. It also comes with a Bluetooth smart TSA lock to remotely lock or unlock the luggage. And lastly has a proximity alarm that would alert you if you wee a distance away from the luggage
The bag was uber-light but it did feel a little flimsy. However it held up well especially since I tend to overpack. The verdict? If you want a tech savvy bag then the Heys Smart Luggage is for you.
With my bag game squared away, I also wanted to put together a great travel ready look. Style tip: You don’t always need to wear a tailored look when you travel. You can be just as dapper in casual wear. A great pair of jeans, statement shirt and lightweight jacket can go along way.
