I’m not much of a sports guy but I am a lover of men’s fashion. It’s only natural that I look forward to the Oscars every year. In sports terms the Oscars are my Superbowl. It’s become a tradition to highlight some of the top looks of the night. Without further ado, I give you DCFashion Fool’s best dressed men of the 2021 Oscars.
Steven Yeun
Dressed in Gucci, Yeun is giving off classic Hollywood style. It’s a big change from his old Walking Dead look.
Sasha Baron Cohen
Cohen’s Ralph Lauren look also gave off old world Hollywood albeit not in the traditional black but with a brown blazer and cream trousers.
Riz Ahmed
In more casual nod to formal dressing, Ahmed is decked out in all Prada.
Lakeith Stanfield
Breaking from the traditional tuxedo mold was Stanfield in a St Laurent jumpsuit. With no Billy Porter to grace us with an over the top look, Stanfield wins this year’s award for bringing fierceness to the red carpet.
Aldis Hodge
Hodge went for the white in an embroidered Dolce and Gabbana tuxedo.
Alan S. Kim
Probably the youngest star to receive a best dressed award was Kim. Thom Browne’s school boy look on Kim really was a red carpet winner.
Leslie Odom Jr
If you going to go to the Oscars, why not dress like the statue? Odom’s suit is by
Brioni with thread dipped in 24k gold.
Coleman Domingo
Domingo brought bold coloring to the red carpet in his Versace hot pink tuxedo.

Travon Free and Martin Desmond Roe
Dressing with a purpose, the Oscar winners wore custom Dolce and Gabanna. The linings of their suits were embroidered with the name of 17 people who died as a result of police brutality.
Questlove
He may not be one of the best dressed men of the 2021 Oscars but he was probably the hardest working. As the DJ during the show, Questlove opted for comfort rather than style even sporting Crocs as his shoes of choice.
